Ring© Process Team Transformation Workshop
Some of what we do in life today, we do solo – alone. But much, if not most, of what we do especially in business, is done in relationships with others. In some circumstances, it’s in relationship with one other person; but in many situations we’re involved in relationships with a group of others - as teams, committees, project groups, etc.
A challenge that this way of functioning in business creates is measuring and rewarding how a team is performing. We have gotten pretty good at assessing individual performance but we haven’t developed tools and ways for looking at how well a team – we’ll call it a system – performs. And sometimes – many times – individual performance and team performance aren’t consistent (remember the USA Olympic basketball teams filled with great individual stars who did not perform effectively as a team, and had no team success).
That’s where the Ring© Process comes in.
Ring© is an instrument that allows a team to measure its effectiveness, to assess where it is along a continuum in a number of characteristics of performance AND prescribe how to get where it wants to be along those characteristics’ continuum. It not only assesses how well a team or system is performing, but also points to some areas that need infusion for more effectiveness. And it is a continuous process, constantly reading the system’s landscape, informing the system so that it can tweak, adjust, evolve, elevate, reveal – invoke whatever change is needed to move to the level of functioning that achieves those magical results.
Using the Ring© instrument within the Ring© Process creates continuous renewal for the system. Essentially the team shifts toward collaborating and supporting instead of competing and conflicting. Talking and working with each other instead of talking about and working against each other. Becoming self-managed and self-functioning instead of needing micro-managing and being dysfunctional.
The Ring© Process starts with a two-day workshop where the team learns advanced forms of communicating with each other within the team so that it becomes forward-moving, interconnected and productive - replacing stagnant, fragmented and toxic. This is followed by six months of on-going external coaching support. During this six months, the team learns to become self-coaching, self-functioning, self-driven – and weans itself from the external coaching support.
In the end, from the process of start through finish, the team will have shifted into a different way of being and working with each other. With it’s on-going use of Ring©, the shift sustains and continues to grow and evolve. And the results from this kind of functioning team dramatically changes the answer to the question, “What’s possible?”

"Great awareness program for gaining an understanding of the members on our team."
"This is a very intense, challenging 2 days. It requires openness, taking risk & having trust. The more you put in to it, the more you will get."
"This was a very thought provoking two days. We discovered the ‘elephant in the room’ a number of times and can now move forward."
"Excellent, excellent – you created a safety that this team needed to move forward."
"Excellent seminar but requires open and honest dialogue in order to be effective."
“The Ring Workshop was exactly what my team needed. The exercises in the workshop helped us gain insight into team perceptions and how we currently interact as a team. It allowed us to identify traits to make us a better team and provided tools to help us achieve our goal of being a more effective and cohesive team. Each member of the team was able to gain some takeaways, whether it was an awareness of their personal commitment to the team or how they were being perceived by the team. I feel this workshop will truly allow us to increase the commitment level of the team and allow us to have more effective meetings and interactions.”

Signature Chapter© Program
We at Sidecar Coach are conducting a beta group to try out our new teleclass and teleseminar material. The beta group will start at the end of January.
So, we invite you to attend.
We are looking for a group of eight to twelve participants. The idea candidate would be someone who has recently retired or is within five years of moving into retirement. And, we need these to be people who are interested in writing their life stories (greatly facilitated by a guide book and supported by weekly or biweekly mastermind group calls). These stories will be captured and published in paperback-size books to distribute to your loved ones.
And the idea candidates would receive one-on-one coaching, delivered twice monthly in forty-minute phone calls. The purpose of the coaching is to use the life stories to recapture dreams that were set aside, values that lost their thunder, and meaning that got lost during the process of carving out a living and raising a family. And all this unfolds into a retirement life that blossoms into the Signature Chapter of your life.
The beta program will run three months. The only cost will be for the guide book and the life stories books that you decide to have printed.
Please tell us of your interest by emailing jerry@signaturechapter.com
We promise that you won't regret it.
